It's a BOY!!!

We had our ultrasound yesterday morning and Kylah is having a little brother. Thanks for the prayers for a healthy baby. So far all looks well and he is developing right on track!

20 Week Belly Photo

Today we are officially 20 weeks pregnant! WOW! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone, much quicker than with Kylah. I am definitely bigger at this point this time around, but have only gained 10 pounds - even though it looks like much more! We will find out on Thursday if Kylah will be having a brother or sister - but we may not share with anyone else for a while.

Congratulations to Valerie for winning my contest - Cooper was the winning name!! I have always liked that name and have a friend with a son named Cooper. Kylah was the one who actually picked the winner. :o)

Contest

Wordless Wednesday

Building a Planter for Mommy

This morning we went to Lowe's for some stuff that Derek needed. We didn't realize that it was "Build and Grow" Day and Kylah got to make me a planter for Mother's Day. She had such a good time building and wanted to make something else, so we told her we'd try and take her the next time they have something to build.

Fairfield Glade

This is how are trip started - pouring down rain, and it pretty much did that every day that we were gone. Luckily we had some sunny times a few days and Thursday was all sunshine! On Sunday afternoon, we took Kylah to the pool, she had so much fun and made friends with a little girl that was about her age. They played ball in the water and Kylah had such a good time.

On Tuesday, we went to the mountains. Here are Derek and Kylah in the place where we got married. Kylah liked going there, she wants to get married there (hopefully MANY, MANY years from now!!)

Kylah and I found some tadpoles swimming around. They were really neat and we sat and watched them for a long time.

When we got back to the resort, it had finally dried out at the park and Kylah couldn't wait to slide...

...and swing.

Thursday, our only sunny day was spent at Fall Creek Falls. Kylah liked the waterfalls!
