1st "official" haircut

Kylah got her hair cut yesterday! I have cut her bangs a few times, but we actually went to the salon and got it trimmed up! She was such a good girl and sat really still for Lori - until the very end, but she still wasn't too squirmy. Thanks Lori for a wonderful job!!

Reception

Kylah's great-grandparents had a reception today for their 50 years of marriage. They had a great time reminiscing with friends and family.

Christmas @ Grandma & Pop Pop's

This morning we had breakfast at Grandma & Pop Pop's and then Kylah got to open the last of her Christmas presents (but lucky for her, her birthday is in 3 weeks, so she'll get to open more then).

Christmas @ Nana & Poppy's

We went to Nana & Poppy's Christmas Day for lunch and ended up staying most of the day since my grandparents were coming over also. We opened presents for over an hour and a half!!! But, that is mostly because Kylah is OCD and has to take off every single piece of wrapping paper that is on each gift!

50 Years!!

My grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Christmas Eve!! They were able to visit with both of their children and all of their grandchildren and their great-granddaughter. I made this scrapblog for them and had it printed out in to a book for them so they could enjoy it whenever they wanted. Congratulations Grandma and Granddaddy!!!!

The Grinch

This afternoon, Bradley came over to wrap Sam's gifts since I had ordered some of them for him and they were here. After Kylah got up from her nap, she wanted Bradley to watch 'The Grinch' with her. This is how I found them when I came in to check on them!

Playdate + Making Cookies = FUN, FUN, FUN!

This morning we went to Zoe's house for some cookie making!! Kylah was very excited to see her friends and she loves cookies - so we had a great time!! Valerie showed the girls how to spread the icing on the cookies before the girls got their own icing. The girls all had a good time with the icing!

Making Soap

Tonight, Kylah and I made soap. We made some a few weeks ago for her teachers at Big Red School and tonight we made some more, this time for her teachers at church. We had a lot of fun stirring and making new colors!!

Great-Grandparents

This afternoon, we went to visit my grandparents. Kylah had a lot of fun playing with them and investigating everything!!

Darren's Birthday...and mine

Tonight we went to Outback to celebrate Uncle "Danner's" birthday... and well, mine too.

After everyone left, Kylah was ready for bed, here you see her attempting to take her shirt off so we could put on her pjs. She finally got it off, but it was hilarious watching her.

Chloe's 1st Birthday

Today is Chloe's first birthday!! At her party this afternoon, she had a really good time with her cake - she even got icing in her hair!

Making Cookies

Last night we went to Bradley & Sam's for supper. Afterwards, Kylah helped Sam make cookies. She had so much fun putting the dough into balls (or attempting to anyway). Then, Sam fixed Kylah's hair - she loves to have her hair in pigtails!!
