Dayton had cereal for the first time tonight. He did a pretty good job considering he will be 12 weeks old tomorrow. Kylah didn't start eating cereal until 4 months - she was ready way before, but being a first time mom and not really knowing anything, I listened to the dr. and waited. Dayton has been opening his mouth for a few weeks when we eat, so I thought it was time to at least try it.

I finally got to hold Ryder!! Kylah has been a little sickly for about a week and a half - nothing contagious, but we were afraid for her to be around the little guy, just in case. So, we left Kylah at Grandma and Pop Pop's and we went to visit Darren, Shanna and Ryder. They weren't ready to get Ryder out just yet.

Opening one of about 50 gifts! We literally opened gifts for about 2 hours. I didn't get very many pictures because we were all so busy and Kylah was opening so fast it was hard to get any pictures of her.

LOVE this expression. For some reason Kylah only wanted a dinosaur and a hippopotamus. She didn't get the hippo, but seemed very excited to get this dinosaur!

This morning we went to Target to help with the Shop with a Firefighter program that the Firefighter's Association does each year. I thought Kylah was old enough this year to really help out and mature enough to not be asking for things for herself. She did a wonderful job and we are so very proud of our almost three year old!!

Afterwards, we all went to the Plaza for brunch. Kylah wanted her picture made with the huge Christmas tree.

Once again, Derek had to sit in Santa's lap with Kylah. They didn't stay seated long enough for me to get a picture.
She was excited to see Santa all the way there and while we were in line, but something happened when she actually realized that she was next...
Darren and Shanna had their baby boy this morning at 11:18(ish). He weighed in at 6lbs. 7 1/2 oz. and is 20 1/4 inches long.
Dayton went for his 2 month check up today. He is now 12 lbs. 1 oz. and is 24 1/2 inches long which is the 90th percentile!! He got three shots in his legs and really didn't fuss as much as you would think he would have.
Today was Chloe's 2nd birthday. Several of the kids invited to the party were sick and couldn't make it, but Kylah, Chloe and Elizabeth had a great time playing...and Dayton slept and tried to learn how to walk.
