Christmas @ Nana & Poppy's

We went to Nana & Poppy's Christmas Day for lunch and ended up staying most of the day since my grandparents were coming over also. We opened presents for over an hour and a half!!! But, that is mostly because Kylah is OCD and has to take off every single piece of wrapping paper that is on each gift!

50 Years!!

My grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Christmas Eve!! They were able to visit with both of their children and all of their grandchildren and their great-granddaughter. I made this scrapblog for them and had it printed out in to a book for them so they could enjoy it whenever they wanted. Congratulations Grandma and Granddaddy!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving - Part 1

Today for lunch we went to Nana & Poppy's.
Kylah enjoyed eating the turkey - that was about all she would eat,
but we were so glad to keep hearing her ask "More, Pease!"
Kylah listening to her new CD player.
After supper, we played cards, Kylah was driving with a cover for a burner.

Moving

On Saturday, Bradley and Sam moved to Bowling Green (to be closer to us, of course). Kylah and I didn't get to help since it was cold and rainy, but when they all got to town, we went to their new "house" to help unload and put some stuff away.
Kylah was a lot of help, she moved the basketball several times!

Trying to decide where to go eat - Poppy didn't like the Mexican request.
Kylah needed her bow in before we could go, Shane is now an expert bow-putter-inner!

My New Haircut & a Visit to Nana and Poppy's

I got a new haircut yesterday!! I wanted something a little different, but what I really got was something a LOT different!! I did tell Derek before I went that I wanted to go shorter, but I wasn't exactly thinking quite this short, BUT I love it!!
Me and Derek, do you like the new me??

Poppy is teaching Kylah bad habits - walking on the table is unacceptable!
To make up for the table deal, Poppy fed Kylah some mandarin oranges! Yum!

Odds & Ends

We went by the airport for a quick look at the hot air balloons tonight. It was hard to get good pictures, but Kylah sure did like seeing them.
**********
Nana and Poppy came by here after we ate and saw the balloons. Kylah had to fill up her piggy bank. When Poppy ran out of coins, she politely asked for "mowa" and Poppy reached for his billfold.
*********************
Last night when I was flossing my teeth, Kylah decided that she needed to also. First, I flossed them for her and then she did it all by herself - what a big girl!
**************
Yesterday afternoon, we visited Gander Mountain. Kylah has always ridden in a cart, but she spotted the car and had to ride in it. She had such a great time, but mommy needs to work on her driving!
******************
We visited with some friends from church yesterday afternoon. Ms. Edith gave Kylah some make-up and she is giving Mr. Wayne a facial.
Letting Kylah write.
**********************
I lost Kylah yesterday morning and couldn't find her anywhere. I finally looked in the computer room, and there she was hiding under some papers in the big chair. She really thought it was funny that I couldn't find her. Usually when she hides, I find her pretty quickly, but this time she made me work hard to find her!!
