7 Years

Believe it or not, 7 years ago today, my life changed forever! I didn't know it at the time, but meeting Derek for the 15 or so minutes that night would turn in to so much more! A few months later he asked me out (FINALLY) after spending a great deal of time together. One year later, he proposed and then a few months later we got married (almost exactly a year from our first date)! These seven years have flown by and I wouldn't change any of them for anything!! Thanks Derek, for making my life so much fuller!! :o)

Kylah is...

• such a sweet, caring little girl - if you have a boo-boo, she will kiss it and seem so concerned that you have it
• sleeping in a big girl bed (for a few months now) and doing so wonderful with it
• excited to meet her little brother in October!!
• so full of energy
• talking non-stop
• always ready to say the prayer when we eat, she is thankful for everyone's food and even her vitamin!
• so shy some days, and not shy at all on other days
• able to ride her tricycle all by herself
• singing LOTS of songs - mostly songs from Bible School
• aware of everything that is going on, even when we think she isn't paying attention at all

Cumberland Falls

We went to Cumberland Falls this afternoon. Kylah loved the waterfall and the sticks! :o)
