My Little Climber

Dayton has been climbing lately - a lot more than Kylah ever did. This morning when I came in the kitchen, Dayton was sitting in the kitchen chair like a big boy, BUT no one put him there, he did it all by himself. I got him down after snapping this cute picture and wondered if he might happen to do it again. Luckily he did while I was videoing!!

Firefighter Demonstrations

Firefighter demonstrations were held at Home Depot this evening. They have this every year, but this was the first time I've had a chance to go. I was very impressed with the way the guys did everything!!Propane burn simulation

******************************************* Derek ended up working overtime today. We were planning to go to this anyway, but since he was working on a rescue truck, we got to see him in action. I really had no idea what all was involved with an auto extrication. Some things about his job I'd really rather not know anyway...

Dayton is 1 Today!!

One year ago, today, Dayton was born. One year ago, today, I fell in love again...

This year has gone by way too fast. It is so hard to believe that Dayton is one!!

Dayton's 1st Birthday Party

We had Dayton's party at the fire station. Derek was on duty and today was the only day that worked for everyone to come. It was a good place to have a party!
