Birthday Boy

At 3. About 28 lbs. (Will go to the dr for official weight this week!)

At 2.  24 lbs. 2 oz.

At 1. 19 lbs. 13 oz.

At birth.  My butterball weighed 10 lbs 6.5 oz!! 

Dayton's 3rd Birthday Party

 These camo cupcakes and cake were so much fun to make!  I got the idea from Pinterest.  Luckily, Dayton wanted chocolate icing instead of the camo icing - I'm not so sure the icing would have been as easy to do.

Be Still My Soul - book review

When Lonnie Sawyer is forced to marry Gideon O' Riley, neither are happy.  Throughout their marriage, Lonnie's faith in God shines through and eventually Gideon starts to see how wrong he has been in his treatment of his dear wife.

There are a lot of struggles and hard times, but faith and forgiveness shine through in this wonderful book.

This is the first novel by Joanne Bischof.  I look forward to reading more from her.

Thumbs Up for Lane!

Many of you may have heard of 13 year old, Lane Goodwin.  He is battling cancer that has gone to his brain.  I can not even start to imagine what this family is going through.  To show their support for Lane, many are doing a thumbs up - from small kids to "famous" people.

This morning, Foundation Christian Academy showed their support by doing a thumbs up picture to send to Lane.

This afternoon, we went by Derek's station and his guys did a thumbs up picture as well to show their support for Lane.
