Today was my surprise fake birthday!! Derek has me a "fake" birthday almost every year. It is a different month each time, but always on the 11th. My real birthday is December 11, and I commented one time about how much I disliked my birthday being so close to Christmas as a kid. Derek, being the wonderful guy that he is remembered that, and although it isn't a big deal to me now, I do look forward to my surprise birthday - I never know when I will have one or if I even will. One year we went to Horse Cave Theater to see 'Steel Magnolias', one time we went on a ride on the General Jackson. This year tops them all and was the biggest surprise of all - we went to Bardstown for a ride on the Dinner Train!! Thank you, Derek, for making my day so special, you are the best!! :o)
The train only goes so far on the 2 1/2 hour ride, and then the engine has to move to the other end of the train and bring you back. We were in the last car going and the first car coming back. Here you see the engine coming to us to switch places and right beside us.
I am a stay-at-home mom to Kylah, born in Jan. 2007 and Dayton, born in Oct. 2009. I am married to the most wonderful man, Derek. He is a wonderful husband and father! I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful life!
