Blog Commenting Challenge -Day 1

I've never done this before, but we'll try it and see how it goes. I will be taking a 5 day Blog Commenting Challenge to meet new bloggers. To enter the challenge visit Jenna here to get started yourself!! SO, I will start today's post giving a little background info about myself in case you are new to my blog!
  • I am Kim. I live with my wonderful husband of almost 9 years in KY. We have a beautiful, smart, caring daughter, Kylah who will start Kindergarten this year at a local private school in our city. She was born 10 days past my due date and weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs 1 1/4 oz. Needless to say, I NEVER anticipated having a baby quite so big!!
  • Two years and 9 months later, we were blessed with our handsome, witty, hilarious son, Dayton. Knowing how big his sister was at birth, we decided to schedule to be induced a few days early to have an average sized baby...however, Dayton grew really well inside of me and was an even bigger baby weighing in at 10 lbs. 6 1/2 oz!!! WOW!! And, for the record, I had them both without a c-section (but I did get an epidural, thankfully!!) By looking at them now, you would never in a million years guess that they started out so huge!!
  • I worked 5 years as an elementary teacher and one year as a surgical assistant to an oral surgeon. Since the kiddos came along, I have been blessed to stay home with them and "teach" them a little from home.
