Then when we finally got close in the other lane, the line was all the way around the building for those lucky enough to get off the road and find somewhere to park.
We ended up eating lunch at McDonald's down the road and stopped back by at about 2:30. The line wasn't outside, but was all the way to the door. Derek dropped me off and I waited in line for almost 30 minutes.
I want to commend Chick Fil A on their beliefs and the customers on their behavior. The whole time I was in line, not one person complained about waiting - the manager actually came around shaking our hands and thanking us for being patient!! It was a wonderful experience all around and I am so thankful that so many were able to show their support today. I am pretty sure the statement they made about Christian marriage and values has and will continue to show them the success they deserve!
