Wow, it sure doesn't seem like a new year should be here.  Time is moving ever so fast, and I can't seem to make it slow down!!

Instead of trying, I guess I'll just enjoy what this new year brings our way...

• This past Saturday marked Derek's 15 year anniversary at the fire department.  Which means in 5 years he can retire at the ripe old age of 42!!
• This Saturday will be Kylah's first basketball game.  She is playing Upward this year for the first time and is beyond excited!!
• The 14th is our baby girl's 6th birthday - that truly does NOT seem possible!!  

Those are just a few highlights for the month of January.  I know that God has some wonderful things planned for our little family this year and I can't wait to see what they are!!
