Kylah fell this afternoon before her nap and busted her lip in two places. Not exactly sure what happened, but it appears that her top front teeth bit into her bottom lip. Needless to say, there was a lot of blood and a few tears were shed. She is fine now and, although it looks bad, she doesn't seem to notice that it is even there.
Derek left this morning to go on a camping challenge. The only things that he took with him are in the picture above. And before you ask, no he isn't worried about fresh breath while he is gone, the Altoids tin is full of survival things like fishing line, fishing hooks, water purification stuff, matches... The challenge is to survive for 3 days and 2 nights on as little as possible. He is taking his camera to prove some of the things that he does like building a shelter, catching some fish or frogs or whatever he can come up with to eat. The notebook is to keep a journal of his experiences. I am so proud of him and know that he will do so wonderfully because he is amazing and can do anything he sets his mind to!!
This morning we took Kylah to Mammoth Cave for her first cave tour. She LOVED it!! She walked the whole way by herself and wanted to go again when we got to the car to leave. Now she can't wait to go and take her brother when he gets here!
For the last 30 weeks, I have been carrying around a sweet little boy in my belly. As time draws nigh, and only 10 weeks remain I am beginning to wonder if I'm ever going to get to meet our little man. We have been so blessed and can't wait to meet him!! Now, if we can only come up with a name...
