Chewing Gum and Potty Training

Kylah got to chew gum for the first time this morning. Our deal was that if she went 4 days in a row with no accidents, she could chew gum. We had a long discussion the other night (well, long for a 2 year old) about how we don't swallow gum and we throw it in the trash when we are finished and NEVER on the floor or ground. Needless to say, the talk didn't sink in because as soon as she had chewed it and was ready for another piece (about 2 minutes after putting it in her mouth), she swallowed it. She was so happy with herself for getting to chew it - I think she will continue to let us know when she needs to go to the potty!! :o)

Winter Storm '09

Best Friends

Chloe was here this afternoon for the first time in 3 weeks. Two weeks ago, Dawn had the flu and last week, I had a temperature and was afraid for Chloe to be here just in case it was something bad. The girls were so happy to get to play together and had fun, when they weren't napping.

Kylah got to show Chloe her vanity that she got for her birthday. Chloe really liked seeing herself in the mirror!!

SNOW

This morning, we woke up to some snow. When Kylah woke up I said "Guess what is happening outside?" and opened her blinds. She responded with "SNOW!!" I promised her we would go out and play in it this afternoon. Well, this afternoon turned in to before lunch since the sun came out and started melting some of it.
