We went to church with Grandma, Pop Pop, Darren and Shanna yesterday morning. Pop Pop was speaking and we didn't want to miss out. He did a REALLY good job!!
I so wished that I could take pictures at church - Kylah would only sit with Darren and Shanna and was so good the whole time. She was especially drawn to Uncle Darren the whole day. She didn't want to come to me when it was time to leave church to go and eat, SO Darren carried her to the truck and put her in (how sweet!). Then she gave him numerous hugs and kisses when we got to Donald and Shauna's house - as you will see in the pictures that follow!

Roger Jackman went to be with the Lord late last night. He was a dear friend of our family. Derek and his brother Darren, grew up in the house in front of Roger and Sadie and spent a lot of time with them when growing up.
Some of my favorite stories of their adventures include Roger climbing a tree when they were all playing hide and seek. It took them forever to find him at night up a tree. Finally, someone shone the flashlight up the tree and could barely see the bottoms of his shoes. Roger and Sadie took Derek and Darren to Guntown Mountain every year to ride bumper cars - Derek still has fond memories of those times.
Roger was a wonderful man. He would do anything for anyone without any hesitation. A true gem of a man. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
