Roger Jackman went to be with the Lord late last night. He was a dear friend of our family. Derek and his brother Darren, grew up in the house in front of Roger and Sadie and spent a lot of time with them when growing up.
Some of my favorite stories of their adventures include Roger climbing a tree when they were all playing hide and seek. It took them forever to find him at night up a tree. Finally, someone shone the flashlight up the tree and could barely see the bottoms of his shoes. Roger and Sadie took Derek and Darren to Guntown Mountain every year to ride bumper cars - Derek still has fond memories of those times.
Roger was a wonderful man. He would do anything for anyone without any hesitation. A true gem of a man. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
