Holiday Weekend

Monday we went to Owensboro. We ate at my all time favorite place, Olive Garden - yum! We did a little shopping for Kylah - almost all of our shopping is for Kylah it seems. Of course, while we were there, we had to visit Whittaker's Gun Shop. Secretly, I'm sure that is why Derek chose that destination. After we left there, we went to Uncle Lee's (remember where we had the dead battery?). Kylah got tired of sitting in the cart and decided to push it instead.

Monday morning, Kylah once again visited mommy's closet - she loves to get in there and play with my shoes. She came out wearing some wedge heels and actually walked around in them really well. You can see from the video that she was having a great time!

On Sunday, Kylah let me put her hair in a pony tail and she left it in there for once!! Usually she takes it out before you can even turn around. This time she left it in all the way from home, to the fire station to see daddy (and drive the truck for a few minutes), to church, all through church and back home!! Everyone at church told her how cute her pony tail looked and she would touch it to let them know she knew it was there, but she never pulled it out!! I bought her some barrets to see if she will maybe keep them in also, so far she has done a pretty good job of leaving them alone.
